About the role

Webosition uses technology to make business work better while keeping people at the center. As Senior AI Engineer, you’ll design and build AI applications, integrations, and automations with a clear purpose and measurable value.

You’ll help shape technical decisions, move promising ideas into production, and ensure the systems we deliver are dependable and maintainable.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop applications using large language models and relevant AI services.
• Build integrations connecting websites, CRMs, business platforms, and data sources.
• Develop retrieval workflows, structured outputs, and tool-enabled assistants.
• Create evaluations to measure accuracy, usefulness, and failure modes.
• Implement human review where workflows require judgment.
• Monitor reliability, latency, usage costs, and performance.
• Protect sensitive information through appropriate access and data controls.
• Document systems and collaborate with technical and nontechnical colleagues.

What you’ll bring

• Strong software engineering experience, including production AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and API integration.
• Experience with LLM APIs, retrieval systems, and evaluation methods.
• Familiarity with databases, cloud deployment, testing, and monitoring.
• Practical judgment about where AI adds value and where simpler solutions work better.
• The ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly.
• Ownership, curiosity, and attention to reliability.
